Maggie is a cowgirl from Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Maggie’s love for horses and all animals started at a very young age. She started competing with her horses in local 4-H shows and later discovered her passion for showing horses and rodeo.  She went on to compete in MOKAN Youth Rodeo Association (MKYRA) and Missouri High School Rodeo Association. In 2014 Maggie earned the title of Miss Rodeo Missouri. 

Maggie is a graduate of the University of Missouri, Columbia. After college graduation, Maggie embarked on her first career goal by taking the reins at Sunset Trails Stables, her family’s business where she started working at age 10. 

I have been riding horses my whole life. My dad has owned Sunset Trails for fourteen years and I have been teaching horse riding lessons for over 10.

Currently I am student at the University of Kansas. In my free time I enjoy barrel racing and helping others improve their barrel racing skills. The picture is me in a barrel race on Cash.

My name is Kate Davis I have been riding since I was 5 years old and I own a horse named Huck. Together, we competitively compete every weekend in the summer in rodeos and barrel runs. Huck is 16 years old and is an American Quarter Horse. Outside of horses, I enjoy photography and art. I am currently in college working to get my Bachelor's degree in nursing, and I plan to become a Labor and Delivery nurse!

Kara has been riding at Sunset Trails since she was three years old! Kara was an active 4-H member and showed in many local show circuits. Now, she is studying agricultural business in college. Kara's horse's name is Bambam. He is retired from the show ring but still enjoys trail riding. Kara really enjoys teaching others how to ride and driving horse drawn carriages on the Country Club Plaza.

Bella has been riding for 10 years and owns an American Quarter Horse named Georgia, who lives at Sunset Trails. Together they love to compete in rodeos and barrel races. When Bella is not riding or hauling to the next event, she enjoys playing cello. She is attending the University of Missouri, Columbia where she is working to become a large animal/equine veterinarian. Bella says, "My dream is to someday run at the NFR (National Finals Rodeo)!"

I show jump with a horse named John and I have a pleasure horse named CJ, that’s him in the picture!  I enjoy riding both English and Western. I also participate in Sunset Trails 4-H with many of the other girls at this barn and others, you should check it out!

I am obsessed with cows, who isn’t, and Ranch Sorting is one of CJ and I's favorite hobbies.

I come from a big family of seven and my dream is to run a Ranch of my own someday. I learned how to ride when I was only seven right here at Sunset Trails.

I've been riding horses since I was three years old and currently own six horses. All my life I've lived on a farm and have had lots of animals. I enjoy trail riding and training difficult horses. My favorite horse is my Appendix Quarter Horse, Ace.

My family has owned Sunset Trails Horse Stables for the past 16 years.

My favorite horses name is DJ and I have had him for as long as I can remember. I really enjoy trail riding and teaching others how to ride.
